Alba Early Years Day Nursery is a friendly and welcoming day nursery committed to providing high-quality care and education to children from birth to five years. We aim to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages each child's development and wellbeing.

Job Purpose:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the daily care, learning, and development of children in our nursery. You will work as part of a dedicated team to deliver a high standard of childcare in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children. Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote development and learning. Observe and assess children's progress, sharing observations with the team and parents. Support children's personal care and hygiene needs. Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents. Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe nursery environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and nursery policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent. Experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or similar setting. Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles. Current paediatric first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain). DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
