12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 15:20 - 17.50

Salary:

12.21 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and conscientious

School Cleaner

to join our site team at a welcoming primary school in Barrow in Furness. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas to a high standard Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of appropriately Undertaking routine deep cleans when required Ensuring all cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and stored correctly Following health and safety and safeguarding procedures at all times

Person Specification:

Previous experience in a cleaning role is desirable but not essential Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities (training will be provided)
