Cleaner - Part Time 10 hours, 4.00pm - 6.00pm Monday to Friday

24,413 to 24,796 per annum FTE ( 6,598 to 6,701 actual salary)

We are seeking to appoint two new members to our Cleaning Team .

We are looking for someone who is hardworking and reliable who will be responsible for the cleaning of designated areas as allocated by the Site Manager ensuring that the standards of cleaning meet the expectations of the school.

The position is part time Monday to Friday 10 hours per week. (4.00pm - 6.00pm Monday to Friday)

Please note that this position is not term time only.

Duties include:



To maintain a clean internal environment of the school premises to support the professional delivery of the curriculum. Undertake individually or as part of a team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition in compliance with Health & Safety & COSHH. Cleaning duties will include - wiping furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, walls, doors, and polishing door glass. Cleaning toilets including sanitary fittings and surrounds. Mopping and spray cleaning hard floor surfaces. Wiping, polishing, and straightening furniture. Checking and closing windows and doors. Be willing to participate in staff training and development - CPD.

You will be expected to follow and promote the procedures in the child protection and safeguarding policy and report any concerns in accordance with agreed procedures. If your own conduct in relation to the safeguarding of children and young people gives cause for concern the Trust's child protection procedures will be followed alongside implementation of the Trust disciplinary procedures. This post will require online checks to be undertaken and an enhanced DBS check, as well as medical clearance.
