Berry Cleaning is recruiting for the following position:

Position:

School Cleaners

Hours:

15 hours a week (3 hours a day)

Days:

Monday to Friday (3:15 pm to 6:15 pm).

Pay rate :

12.21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Thorough cleaning of all assigned areas within the school, including classrooms, offices, toilets, corridors, and common areas. Sanitise high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of infection. Properly dispose of medical waste in accordance with regulations. Adhere to cleaning protocols. Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Follow a cleaning schedule as laid out by Berry Cleaning. Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues promptly to supervisory staff. Replenish consumables and other essential supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cleaning, particularly in schools or education settings, is preferred but not mandatory.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper storage methods. Ability to adhere to safety protocols and procedures. On site Training will be provided.

Must be able to physically handle the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

A 6-month probationary period applies.

Good communication skills and friendly.

A background check (DBS) and proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom will be required.
