Job Description

We are currently looking for a motivated, reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Print Technician.

Responsibilities - your duties will include:

Running and setting of silk screen printing machines and hot foil stamping machines. Mixing inks and colour matching to ensure optimum quality. Arranging foil blocking to customer specification, as and when required. Providing a visual inspection to ensure quality delivery. Trouble shooting and identifying solutions, escalating concerns to Management accordingly. Overseeing the quality output of the machines, making adjustments, if necessary. Liaising with team members and other departments, such as Development, in support of team and company objectives. Providing tool changing and sample production. Monitoring overall production and quality delivery, in support of team objectives. Providing general duties, as and when required, in support of keeping the department running smoothly and efficiently.
Training will be on a day shift basis, leading to a double day shift position, consisting of 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm.

You will be:

Keen to learn with a background in printing or mechanical engineering. Experience in screen printing is beneficial but not essential. Proactive in fault diagnosis and problem-solving, using initiative. An excellent team player with effective interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with others. Honest, reliable and accountable. Hard-working with a positive 'can do' attitude. Conscientious with a sharp eye for detail and a pride for delivering excellence consistently. An ability to pick up processes and operations effectively. Open to embracing challenges and adapting to change when required. Flexible and willing to adapt. Safety conscious and willing to lead by example.
Previous experience within a factory setting is desirable, although not essential as full training will be provided.
