Duties
Drafting Wills, and related estate planning documents
Preparing and submitting Lasting Powers of Attorney (Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare)
Managing client files from initial instruction through to completion
Conducting client interviews and gathering necessary information
Providing clear and compassionate guidance to clients regarding estate planning
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Skills
Minimum
1-2 years' experience
in a private client department (or equivalent)
Proven experience drafting Wills and handling LPAs
Strong understanding of estate planning procedures and legal terminology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload
Client-focused, professional, and empathetic approach
Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office
Desirable
Experience with probate or estate administration
Knowledge of Trusts
Legal qualifications such as LPC, CILEx, or equivalent (not essential)
