Job Description

We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare for a busy family based in Bosherston. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing environment while engaging children in educational and fun activities. Applicants should be organised, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with children of various ages. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Welsh is a plus. Must have a clean driving licence and the ralavent liability insurance cover.

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during scheduled hours Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Assist with homework and educational exercises, including teaching basic concepts where applicable Prepare meals and snacks suitable for children's dietary needs Maintain a clean and organised play area and children's belongings Support children with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, and bedtime routines Drive children to & from school, activities, or appointments when required Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns
Experience

Previous experience in nannying or childcare roles is highly desirable Fully insured Must hold food hygiene certificate or willing to work towards one Must hold an up to date First aid & CPR certification Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific needs Driving experience with a valid clean licence is essential Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Welsh is considered an asset Ability to engage children through creative play and educational activities
