Production Support (Timber Frame Design & Manufacturing)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team, supporting the production and manufacturing process of our bespoke timber frame structures. This role is vital in ensuring that information flows smoothly from design to factory floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and verify manufacturing information provided by external designers, ensuring materials match specifications and key details align with company standards. Identify, flag and overmark any unusual or non-standard design elements for factory consideration. Create electronic cutting lists for the cutting shop manager to implement in production. Prepare and organize physical job folders for the assembly team, including all required sheathing cutting and assembly information. Maintain high attention to detail across all documents - including contract numbers, plot numbers, house types, and component elements - to ensure accuracy and avoid costly rework. Manage workload efficiently, staying 2-3 weeks ahead during steady periods while also being able to quickly switch focus to urgent or late-arriving projects when necessary.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Own transport is essential - our factory is located in Marton, near Welshpool, SY21 8JX.
