Our Purpose

The Council plays a key role along with our Partners in helping and protecting the local community, shaping and maintaining the environment and supporting local businesses and jobs in our area.

The Transformation Team plays a key role in contributing to the realisation of the Council plan and delivery of outcomes through the provision of proactive and effective professional procurement/contract management advice and guidance.

The Council has been successful in securing capital funding through the Levelling Up Fund, Grimsby Town Deal and Future Highstreets Fund to regenerate areas of the borough and needs to expand its Procurement resource to assist in the delivery of these and other major projects.

Your Role

You will work within the Transformation Team, delivering high quality and cost-effective procurement and contract management support within regeneration, working closely with our Regeneration Project Management Office.

You will collaborate with colleagues from across the Council and our partners to find the best route to market in order to achieve project objectives, achieve value for money and maximise efficiencies and savings through robust practices which comply with internal Contract Procedure Rules, Financial Regulations, the Procurement Strategy and other appropriate policies.

About You

We\'re looking for someone who is experienced in leading the procurement of goods, service and works within the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations to assist in the delivery of the Cleethorpes and Grimsby Town Centre masterplans amongst other projects.
