Role Overview
We are seeking a multi-skilled and driven individual with experience in procurement, contract management, and commercial sales to join our growing team. This hybrid role blends strategic sourcing, tender/bid writing, client relationship management, and data-driven decision-making to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Contract Management:
- Oversee procurement strategies, vendor negotiations, and supplier onboarding
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and service level terms
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Support international sourcing and marine purchasing operations
Bid Writing & Commercial Strategy:
- Develop and write proposals and tender submissions for public and private sector clients
- Collaborate with operations and leadership to tailor bid responses
- Track tender outcomes and maintain bid documentation
Sales & Account Management:
- Maintain and grow client accounts across logistics, shipping, and port services
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and support pipeline development
- Manage commercial relationships and drive service uptake
CRM / ERP & Data Analysis:
- Leverage CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) for customer engagement and forecasting
- Use ERP systems to monitor procurement cycles and performance metrics
- Analyze purchasing and sales data to identify trends, reduce costs, and improve efficiency
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement, logistics, contract management, or sales
- Strong writing skills with a track record of successful bid/tender submissions
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Zoho, etc.)
- Data-driven with strong analytical and Excel/reporting skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
