Job Description
Vixen International Trading and Contracting Ltd is seeking a qualified Procurement Officer to join their team. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the company's procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and equipment required for mining, construction, and civil engineering projects.
Main duties include:
Build and maintain good relationships with trustworthy suppliers, negotiate deals, and get the best prices for materials and machinery. Create and follow buying strategies to save costs and ensure quality. Keep an eye on supplier performance, quickly handling problems to ensure high-quality products and services are delivered on time. Manage inventory efficiently by tracking stock levels and restocking items as needed for project needs. Keep detailed records of all purchasing activities and prepare reports to support business decisions.
Skills and Education:
Proven experience in procurement services or related fields. Excellent negotiation skills and strong attention to detail. The ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 38,700.00-39,000.00 per year
