Job Title: Procurement Strategy Lead - Electrification

Salary/Grade: \xc2\xa360,000 - \xc2\xa365,000 ( depending on experience)

Location : Peterborough (hybrid working patterns available)

Benefits:

25 days annual leave

Up to 18% bonus

Car Allowance - \xc2\xa3600 pcm

Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee\'s contribution up to 10%

Job Summary

In response to the global vehicle power transition from internal combustion engines to zero emission solutions the new Electrification and Energy Solutions (E+ES) division has been formed to provide the focus and strategic direction of products and take-to-market strategies. This is an opportunity to join the E+ES Procurement team, with strategic sourcing strategies, processes and tools to deliver a supply chain that meets our future global business requirements.

You will be working for the Procurement E+ES Strategy Director to develop and maintain the portfolio of strategies across E+ES products.

What You Will Do:

Develop long term procurement strategies with roadmaps that build the supply chain of the future

Lead projects associated with lean processes, global market understanding, tools, and systems

Design and develop solutions, collaborate with senior stakeholders and business users to collect VOB/VOC, business requirements, and prepare implementation plans for successful deployment

Contribute to strategic initiatives such as the development of standardized best practices, offerings, services and develop the associated tools & training

Work directly with a wide range of procurement / enterprise representatives, including presenting recommendations to senior leaders

What You Have:

Experience leading and executing strategy within an agile environment

The ability to collect, analyse and present findings to management by using designated data analysis software

Able to recognise and asses problems, opportunities, and methods for improving business performance

Understanding of effective communication and the ability to influence stakeholders across the business

Competent in building effective working relationships with departmental, functional and geographic reporting lines

Top candidates will also have:

Experience executing a strategy plan within procurement

The ability to negotiate successfully across the organisation, with external vendors, and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner

Able to identify, evaluate, introduce and implement more efficient approaches to ensure best procurement practices

Knowledge of the principles and tools used in cost-benefit analysis

Additional Information:

Quarterly international travel may be required
