We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager-to-learn designer to join our R+D Graduate Programme. The scheme aims to provide the successful applicant with a grounding in design for industry, production and an introduction into design for manufacture. Our R+D Facilities are a fantastic place to learn, develop and grow. Your time will be primarily focused on growing your design and delivery skills, plus broadening your knowledge in a manufacturing setting.
The Opportunity:
Participate and continue with own learning and studies whilst completing a range of largely routine duties and tasks.
Work within a workshop or test laboratory environment as required.
Contribute in various, routine design projects from concept to completion, seeking advice on requirements from relevant internal managers.
Contribute with production and maintenance of detailed specifications, objectives, requirements and documentation throughout a development cycle.
Listen to feedback to gain skills and improve own knowledge on design and project work.
Engage and learn from internal specialists, to ensure own knowledge base is a solution focused to support continuous improvement through innovation and commercialisation.
Ensure attention to detail, seek feedback on rectification of error when engaged on project work.
Use creativity; develop interests in your area of specialism.
