Product Technologist

to ensure every product meets our design, quality, compliance, and manufacturability standards.

The Role:

You will oversee the technical quality and compliance of our furniture products, working closely with design, buying, and supplier teams. You will manage products from concept to production, optimize manufacturability, drive quality improvement, and maintain compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead product development, reviewing designs, specifications, and prototypes, and assessing manufacturability. Develop and implement quality assurance processes, including inspections, testing, and supplier audits. Build strong relationships with Far East and European suppliers, driving continuous improvement and defect reduction. Investigate returns and complaints, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate technical documentation and report on quality metrics and supplier performance.

What We're Looking For:

Experience as a furniture/product technologist with knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials. Strong understanding of international safety standards and regulatory compliance (EN, REACH, timber legality). Experience managing suppliers across borders and driving technical improvements. Analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; PDM/PLM experience is a plus.
