Must be experienced in leading people and held a similar position

Must be experienced in working in a manufacturing / factory environment

Experienced in making decisions and moving resource to achieve daily / weekly targets

About the Role:

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will ensure that all colleagues adhere to strict safety and quality requirements, lead your team to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity to meet customer expectations, optimising efficiency and maintaining operational excellence.

You will be leading our Core Yard and Booking in Team. This area focuses on - receiving core units into production.

This role would suit an individual who has experienced leadership already within their career and is looking for the next challenge.

If that isn't enough, following a busy week at work our team enjoy the benefit of finishing early on a Friday, currently 12.45pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction to the team

Ensure all employees wear the appropriate PPE as designated for their individual functions

Confirm all machine and equipment maintenance checks have been carried out in accordance with daily and weekly schedules

Deal with issues as and when they occur and maintain high levels of communication with the Production Manager

Achieve hourly, daily and weekly targets with respect to HSE, quality, output and cost

Carry out risk assessments in accordance with schedules

Maintain skills matrices and plan for greater flexibility

Contribute to continuous improvement activities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 33,000.00 per year
