We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining high-quality output. Responsibilities
Coordinate daily workloads for the production and installation teams
Plan and manage production schedules to meet deadlines
Order and track materials, liaising with suppliers
Handle incoming calls and walk-in enquiries, taking details and ensuring they're logged accurately
Communicate directly with clients throughout production to keep projects on track
Support the Director with planning, prioritisation and workflow management
Take on a small Health & Safety role, supported by company-provided training
Help improve internal systems and processes for greater efficiency
Use (or learn) Monday.com to manage and monitor projects
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
Experience in assembly processes and managing production lines.
Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
Strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Confident dealing with clients, suppliers and internal staff
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
Previous experience in process optimisation and problem-solving within a fast-paced setting is desirable.
