We are seeking an organised, detail-orientated and proactive Production Coordinator to join our mature and established team in our unique precision engineering company. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production process, ensuring that production schedules are met and accuracy levels maintained. You will oversee production across several different products, ensuring customer expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and meet delivery requirements
Work with a mature and established team across all areas of the business to ensure consistent and accurate communications of requirements
Monitor progression of work through the factory utilizing the knowledge and expertise of existing members of staff
Create and release daily work orders into relevant areas
Maintain accurate records of production data
Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure jobs are produced efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
Operate an efficient quality check and despatch area, checking goods prior to despatch before packing and despatching via post or courier.
Manage material stock levels within tight budgets
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and company policies.
Person we are looking for:
Must have experience in factory based manufacturing working environment.
Experienced working with a mature and established team
Strong organisational skills with the ability to co-ordinate across production areas to achieve despatch targets
Excellent communicator who can recognise and appreciate different levels of understanding and approaches to work
Proficient with computers and able to quickly learn our bespoke CRM system
Willingness to work with our mature and established team of engineers all of whom have worked with us since leaving school over 30 years ago.

Pay: 29,000.00-32,000.00 per year
