Position: Production Engineer
Location: Gloucester
Job Type: Permanent
My client who are a globally recognised manufacturing business are seeking an experienced Production Engineer. The role will be working within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Role and Responsibilities \xe2\x80\x93
In this role you will be researching, developing and testing NPI details form concept phase to high volume manufacture. Other responsibilities include:
- Creation, control and maintenance of supporting product documentation
- To assist in devising, implementing, monitoring and maintaining the best manufacturing/production methods and techniques to improve controllability, quality and reduce costs in line with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s overall goals for the delivery of cost effective, high quality products and excellent customer service
- Ensuring on time delivery of projects
- Introduction of New products from conception to reality ensuring compliance with relevant ISO standards and DFM
- A HNC in Mechanical / Electrical engineering or similar with a proven record of machine programming, project management, and NPI
- Experience / Knowledge of Programming and setting CNC machinery
- Excellent communication skills to disseminate information verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical people
- Experience of working within ISO 13485 management systems is preferable
