The purpose of this role is to support production, ensure the teams have what they need, when they need it and their working areas are clean and tidy.
Skills Required
1-2 years' experience within a production environment
Must be physically fit to undertake the requirements of the role
Understanding of 'Lean' principles would be advantageous
Some basic IT skills (advantageous but not necessary)
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
Replenishing consumable stock, e.g. screws, nuts, washers, etc.)
Replenishing stock e.g. fixing brackets
Checking consumable stock levels in areas of conversion and assembly
Ensuring assemblers have items ready to build and their workspace is kept as clear as possible
Ensuring clean workspace by breaking down cages, ensuring WIP area is tidy
Waste disposal to include pallet removal
Fetching parts as required including first fix and racking
Ensure racking is palletised and wrapped if being dispatched
Assisting with the movement of materials within the facility
FLT experience is advantageous but not essential
Flexibility to support where required e.g. picking, goods in, put away
Demonstrate the corrects standards of professional conduct at all times
Maintain all working areas, including tooling in line with Company standards and health and safety
Available to join the Company snow team
Uphold company standards in quality & engineering practices
Ensure high standards of general housekeeping are maintained
