Job Description

Purpose of Post:



The Jaq. Group is a fast-moving company which has experienced considerable growth over the last year. The Production Manager will lead activities within the manufacturing department to ensure standards, targets, quality, health & safety and training needs are met. The Production Manager collaborates with various departments to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and achieve production goals.

Key Tasks:



Coordinate with sales, marketing, and other relevant departments to forecast production needs Create and execute production schedules Oversee and lead all production processes for all brands and communicate any issues to senior management Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality products Monitor production processes and implement corrective actions to address quality issues Encourage team members to maximum productivity levels to reach targets Continuously evaluate production processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to maintain optimal stock levels Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and excess stock Ensure daily target sheets are completed each day and recorded in the correct format Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times to include housekeeping, team members wearing appropriate PPE and completing accident report forms/investigations when necessary Promote a safe working environment Communicate with external parties to fulfil stock control, maintain machinery and reduce costs Building and maintaining relationships with external parties Monitor and procure factory production equipment Ensure maintenance of machines is up to date Implement and ensure team members understand company Policies/Procedures Lead and monitor personal and team KPIs Monitor productivity, standards and quality control Conduct and develop training for the team Absence management: manage team holidays, carry out return to work interviews, monitor team absence and conduct investigations when necessary Manage performance in compliance with the company KPIs Prepare and conduct performance reviews with the team against set goals and KPIs Undertake any other duties as required, that are within the competence of the post.

Pay: 36,000.00-40,000.00 per year
