Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the operations of our Industrial Department, overseeing the manufacturing of bespoke flue and chimney systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production floor, ensuring products are manufactured to specification, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all aspects of industrial production, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely output.

- Work closely with design to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

- Develop and implement production schedules aligned with project deadlines.

- Drive continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing practices.

- Ensure compliance with EN1090, ISO 9001, and relevant industrial safety codes.

- Mentor production staff including welders, fabricators, and operators.

- Oversee inventory and coordinate with procurement.

- Monitor KPIs and report to senior management.

- Support the implementation of new technologies and machinery.

Qualifications & Experience

- 5+ years in production/manufacturing management, preferably in metal fabrication.

- Understanding of fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly.

- HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent.

- Familiarity with flue /chimney or HVAC component manufacturing is a plus.

- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specs.

- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and planning software.

Work Environment

- Based at our UK industrial production facility in Blackpool.

- Primarily shop-floor environment with office collaboration as needed.

- Requires the wearing of appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

- May involve occasional travel to supplier sites or customer installations.

- Fast-paced production setting with interaction across departments.

- Working hours may vary depending on production demand.

- Hands-on leadership expected - regular presence on the production floor is required.

- Exposure to welding operations, forming machinery, and mild industrial noise/dust.

Location: Blackpool, UK

The role is based at Jeremias UK's Industrial Manufacturing Facility in Blackpool, a key site for our flue and chimney system production in the UK. The facility is equipped with advanced fabrication equipment, CNC machinery, and dedicated project areas for bespoke industrial exhaust solutions.

On-site parking is available.

- Work Base: The Production Manager will be primarily based on-site to oversee daily operations, manage the shop floor, and collaborate with on-site teams.

- Occasional Travel: While the role is centered in Blackpool, occasional travel may be required to visit customers, suppliers, or Jeremias Group sites for coordination, audits, or training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
