Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Production Manager to lead, manage, and optimise all day-to-day production activities within a unionised, shift-based manufacturing environment supplying products to the medical and industrial sectors. While the position operates on a Monday-to-Friday, day-based schedule, it carries full leadership and accountability across multiple shifts to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations at all times.

Key responsibilities include leadership and people management, production and operational delivery, health, safety and compliance, quality and customer focus, continuous improvement, and financial and resource management.

Experience:

Proven experience in a Production Manager or equivalent role Experience in a unionised and shift-based manufacturing environment Regulated manufacturing experience (medical sector desirable) Strong leadership and operational management skills Lean Six Sigma

Education/Certifications:

Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management, or a related field with 3-5 years' experience working in leadership position within Operations.

Required Skills:

Sound knowledge of organisational and leadership practices as applied to the analysis and evaluation of operational needs. Detailed oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task. Strong project management skills and deadline driven. Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Office and strong understanding of ERP systems
