Production Manager

.

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the chemical blending facility, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving efficiency, and leading a high-performing team.

The Production Manager will be responsible for:

Developing and executing production schedules based on customer demand and plant capacity. Monitoring daily output, adjusting resources as required to meet throughput, yield, and cost performance targets. Leading daily Tier One meetings to ensure alignment and timely updates. Ensuring full adherence to chemical industry regulations, including COSHH, REACH, and COMAH. Building a strong site safety culture through communication, audits, risk assessments, and workforce training. Leading incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventative actions. Working closely with QA/QC teams to maintain ISO standards and achieve product specification compliance. Driving continuous improvement in quality processes and reducing non-conformities. Managing and developing a team of operators and technicians. Conducting performance reviews and implementing training and competency development programs. Tracking KPIs including output, productivity, schedule adherence, downtime, and safety metrics.

The ideal Production Manager will have:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a multi-product, recipe-based manufacturing environment or similar process industry at a supervisory/team-leader level. Strong knowledge of safe chemical handling and process safety management. Proven leadership and team management capabilities. Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning tools. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: From 60,000.00 per year
