Job Description

Ulster Carpets is a service-orientated organisation focused on providing bespoke design-led woven floorcovering solutions to architects, specifiers and interior designers throughout the world. We wish to appoint a Production Manager within our Operations Team.

As Production Manager you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of your production department. The Operations Director will look to you to ensure your production area is kept tidy and well maintained, and is running safely, efficiently, at maximum capacity and that all KPI's are on target. You will have the following responsibility within your area:

1. Health and Safety within the Department

2. People and Team Management

3. Quality

4. Production Management and performance

5. Customer Service

6. Cost management

7. Reporting

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

:

5+ years experience at supervisory/management level preferably within manufacturing

Organisation and Time Management:

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

IT Skills:

Proficiency in using ERP and CRM software and other business applications.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and production planning with the ability to grasp technical concepts and techniques associated with Carpet manufacturing

Leadership and Management Skills:

Ability to manage teams, motivate staff, and delegate tasks effectively.

Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Problem-solving Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve production issues efficiently.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Results Driven:

Ability to drive performance, efficiencies and meet KPI's

Experience:

supervisory/management level preferably within manufacturing: 5 years (required)
