We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Duties

Manage daily production activities to meet organisational targets and deadlines. Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and optimise inventory levels. Utilise current systems to monitor production schedules, analyse data, and generate reports for management review. Lead process improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality. Oversee quality control procedures to ensure products meet specified standards and customer expectations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training staff on best practices and implementing lean manufacturing principles. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery is operating optimally and schedule preventative maintenance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all production areas.

Qualifications

Proven experience in manufacturing or production management, preferably within a similar industry. Demonstrable expertise in process optimisation, process improvement, and quality control methodologies. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive organisational goals. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing technology, or related fields are desirable.
