Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations within our organisation. Duties

Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Develop and implement production plans in alignment with organisational goals and customer demands. Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and reducing waste through methodologies such as lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies. Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and optimise logistics. Maintain strict quality control measures by inspecting products, analysing defects, and implementing corrective actions. Provide technical guidance on mechanical systems, assembly processes, and equipment maintenance. Manage a team of supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and professional development. Analyse operational data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and develop solutions for optimisation. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies across all production activities.

Skills

Strong experience within metal fabrication and manufacturing industry Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics coordination. Experience in quality control procedures and defect analysis. Ability to lead teams effectively while motivating staff towards shared objectives. Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
