We are looking for a Production Manager to join our current team to manage, develop and lead the site production team in the delivery of an effective and efficient commercial laundry operation in line with business requirements. This role offers a great opportunity for someone who wants the freedom to influence, and to make a difference.
In 2026, we are moving to a
brand new site
within Nottingham. It is purpose built and will have the most up to date laundry tech you can imagine. This is a really exciting time to join and help us transition in to the new site and set the standards high.
Your new role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be involved in, amongst other things:
Leading, developing, and motivating the site production team (Key Ops and Team Leaders), to ensure we have a positive and engaged workforce, including ensuring training has been completed and regular performance reviews are conducted, so as to reach and exceed KPI's;
Planning shifts to meet budgets, and handling absences in line with absence policy;
Maximising the service, cost, and quality performance of the site operations, by continually reviewing performance, and exploring opportunities to improve;
Introducing and delivering productivity improvements, promoting increased efficiencies, service, and quality performance, in line with KPI and budgetary requirements;
Liaising with customer services to deal with queries and requests;
Maintaining standards, including quality, health and safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
You will be required to work on a fixed 5 on 2 off shift pattern, working 43.75 hours per week, which will cover both our early and late shifts,
AM - 06:30 - 16:00
PM - 15:30 - 01:00
What do I need to apply?
The key skills and experience required for this role include:
Production, manufacturing, or logistics experience in a fast-moving, shift-based environment; FMCG;
Knowledge of change management and lean continuous improvement tools and techniques;
A minimum of 2 years of staff management experience and the ability to motivate others;
Excellent communication and people skills;
IT literate
You will also need proof of eligibility to Work in the UK.
