Production Manager - Cutting, Sewing, Upholstery and Finishing

Location: Tetrad

We are now looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our Cutting, Sewing, Upholstery and Finishing functions at our Tetrad site.

This is a senior, hands-on role with full responsibility for managing supervisors and ensuring the production plan is adhered to, capacity is maintained and customer commitments are met.

The role

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for controlling workflow in line with the build plan and ensuring products move efficiently through each stage of production. You will lead and develop a team of supervisors, drive performance across your departments and ensure all production activity meets quality, safety and commercial expectations.

You will work closely with Planning, Operations and other key stakeholders to maintain factory capacity, balance labour and respond effectively to changing priorities.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage all production supervisors across cutting, sewing, upholstery and finishing
Ensure the production plan is fully adhered to and workflow is controlled to meet delivery targets
Maintain factory capacity and appropriate staffing levels to support the build plan
Drive efficient movement of product through each production stage
Monitor labour efficiency and take action to address performance issues
Promote a quality-focused approach and ensure standards are consistently met
Ensure all health and safety requirements are upheld at all times
Develop a high-performance culture through coaching, engagement and clear expectations
Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency
Work collaboratively with planning and support functions to manage risks and resolve issues

Skills and experience

Proven experience in a Production Manager or senior manufacturing leadership role
Strong understanding of production planning, workflow control and capacity management
Experience leading supervisors and developing high-performing teams
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to make decisions and drive results
Strong communication skills and confidence working across multiple departments
Experience monitoring labour efficiency and managing resources effectively
A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality and safety
