Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our re-manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high quality standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management and re-manufacturing knowledge to optimise production workflows and enhance overall performance.

Responsibilities

Produce and manage weekly production schedules to ensure customer requirements are met. Implement and monitor production processes for promoting workshop efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials. Utilise SAGE to track production metrics and inventory levels. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimisation and quality control measures. Conduct regular assessments of assembly processes to identify areas for improvement. Provide leadership and training to production employees, fostering a culture of safety, quality, delivery performance and excellence. Prepare reports on productivity and continuous improvement, highlighting achievements and areas for development. Undertake internal quality audits in line with the requirements of ISO 9001 quality standard.

Experience

Proven experience within a manufacturing environment in a managerial role. Familiarity with supply chain processes and logistics management. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience in quality control practices within a production environment A background in re-manufacturing processes is advantageous
