Production Manager

Purpose of Role:

Responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring product quality, improving efficiency, and leading a team to deliver high-performance results.

Main Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities to meet customer demand and delivery targets Ensure efficient use of labour, equipment, and materials across all production lines Maintain high quality and safety standards throughout the production process Lead, train, and manage production staff, including supervisors and operators Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste Monitor inventory, materials usage, and minimise scrap and stockouts Prepare production reports and ensure compliance with regulatory and manufacturing standards Support new product launches and cross-functional initiatives with R&D, Supply Chain, and Engineering

Production Manager Requirements:

Proven experience in managing production operations, ideally in manufacturing environments Strong leadership skills with experience coaching, developing, and managing teams Excellent production planning and organisational abilities to meet deadlines and targets Solid understanding of quality control, health & safety, and compliance standards Experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and efficiency optimisation Knowledge of materials management, inventory control, and waste reduction Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues quickly * Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and support new product launches
