Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Production Manager

to oversee and coordinate production activities across our shop floor and external subcontractors. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer requirements are met on time, to specification, and in line with our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organise, and manage production schedules to meet customer deadlines Liaise directly with

customers and suppliers

regarding orders, delivery times, and progress Organise and manage

subcontracted processes

, ensuring quality and timely completion Monitor and chase work progress on the

shop floor and at subcontractors

Coordinate workflow to ensure efficient use of resources Work closely with engineering, quality, and management teams Ensure production activities comply with

AS9100D

and company procedures

Skills & Experience Required

Engineering background or strong engineering knowledge

(essential) Previous experience in a production or manufacturing management role preferred Experience within

precision engineering

, aerospace, or automotive industries advantageous Strong

organisational and planning skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and

organise own workload

effectively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
