About Us


Duynie Ingredients is a leading producer of high-quality agricultural and industrial products, supplying major partners across the UK and Europe. Our Wrexham site covers production using starch co-products from well known companies such as Birds-Eye and McCains. We offer circular solutions based on sidestream starch suitable for adhesives applications like glue for paper bags and sacks, wallpaper, or corrugated paper. Our modified potato starch solutions improve paper strength and reduce environmental impact. We are committed to innovation, efficiency, sustainability, and delivering exceptional quality to our customers.

We are now looking for an experienced

Production Manager

to lead our key operational departments and drive performance, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.

Duties



Coordinate and supervise all aspects of production processes on the factory floor to meet quality standards and production targets. Lead line operations, ensuring seamless workflow and optimal productivity. Manage and motivate a team of operators to achieve operational excellence. Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement. Drive efficiency, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives across the departments. Action SOS cards and health & safety concerns promptly, escalating when necessary Maintain staffing levels and support team development. Monitor KPIs and production metrics; identify and act on performance gaps. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to minimise downtime and resolve operational issues. Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company policies. Support and lead continuous improvement and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives. Participate in audits and inspections; implement corrective actions where required. Provide regular performance updates and reports to the Plant Manager. Conduct performance reviews and support attendance, conduct, and capability processes.

What We're Looking For



Proven management experience in a manufacturing or processing environment. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent understanding of production workflows and optimisation. Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and drive improvement. Strong communicator with effective cross-department collaboration skills. Competent using production management systems and reporting tools. Organised, detail-orientated, and able to prioritise effectively. Proactive problem-solver with a flexible approach. Strong awareness of health & safety, and quality
