Job Purpose:



To hand pack production directly from production machines, whilst also 100% checking the quality of production to a high standard. To assemble/re-assemble products To ensure all machines are kept productive by ensuring a constant supply of the correct products are available on infeed's, and WIP or finished goods are stacked on pallets in accordance with the packaging specification.

Primary Responsibilities:



Check quality of products complying with standards as set by the company Always inform your QC/Supervisor when a bottle is not to specification. Adhere to specific packing instructions according to each work instruction, including erecting boxes or trays as required. To follow the 6S housekeeping program. Ensure correct PPE is worn correctly at all times whilst packing, sorting, inspecting, and as required by any other task. To complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant work instructions. Ensure all tasks are completed professionally and efficiently, including travel time between machines during production and to and from breaks. Ensure that your work area is kept safe, clean and tidy Responsible alongside machine technician in replacing ink supplies and screen wipes when required. Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health & Safety, BRC, Quality and Environment management. Ensure all downtime is completed on log sheets where Gemba isn't used (Block machines Etc.) Maintain set targets for all tasks in the assembly area in line with work instruction. Ensure all required screens are cleaned following the work instruction, all necessary PPE is worn, and task is completed in a timely manner. To float machines when required, carrying out all tasks in line with relevant work instructions. Ensure all work carried out is stamped for traceability purposes in line with BRC regulations. Complete line clearance, removing any previous jobs stray products preventing cross contamination and stopping the wrong product going to the customer. Ensure production time spent in assembly is logged. Any other reasonable management request

Desirable Experience:



Previous Production Operative experience would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
