Purpose of Role
: We're looking for a hands-on and proactive Supervisor to join our production team. In this role, you'll work closely with the Production Manager to lead and support team leaders and shop floor staff, ensuring daily operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and experience in a manufacturing environment who is ready to step up and make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support production staff to meet output targets and quality standards
Conduct return-to-work interviews and manage other people-related matters
Monitor and maintain high levels of quality and accuracy in all production processes
Issue and check all production paperwork is completed accurately
Ensure all equipment is used correctly and maintained regularly
Oversee stock control using Kanban and other in-house systems
Take an active role in training, attendance management, and staff development
Participate in hands-on manufacturing when required
Promote and uphold Health & Safety regulations at all times
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation on the shop floor
Work additional hours when required to meet customer demands
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment
Strong people management and communication skills
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Understanding of stock control systems and production processes
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Flexible and willing to be hands-on when necessary
