The role holder is responsible for providing support to the production manager. Supporting all functions of the signs manufacturing facility.

The administrator will be responsible for managing relationships with our key suppliers and our internal manufacturing departments. Proactively engaging with our manufacturing teams to ensure customer orders are loaded to our operating systems and materials are purchased and delivered within in agreed costs and timescales. Providing accurate and timely responses to information requests from internal departments, predominantly sales and accounts.




This is a full time office based role. Working from home is not available.



Duties and Responsibilities





Collaborate with production manager and supervisor Work closely with suppliers to establish best practice on placing orders / call offs use of forecasts and lead times. Raising purchase orders to external and internal suppliers. Chasing late/delayed orders with suppliers. Scanning and emailing paperwork to purchase ledger Requesting prices from existing suppliers with all info provided Responding to sales emails chasing delivery dates of orders, using MRP system to track statuses Creating replenishment orders on PACE system Data entry into Pace system with any new materials, or changes to existing materials Uploading monthly stock takes into MRP systems, flagging any potential stock issues Working with team leaders to compile weekly orders Updating any price changes and working with manager to achieve best pricing Updating and submitting staff hours weekly Running reports using MRP system Supporting production staff with machine issues by raising tickets with maintenance contractors Running daily back-order report to identify any issues with orders, acting accordingly to avoid delays
