Established in 1965, Cheshire Wellness is a family-run business with a proud history in the design, construction and manufacture of swimming pools, tiled spas, experience rooms and medical wellness products.

Cheshire Spas & Pools is one of Europe's largest spa shell and pool manufacturers capable of producing up to 40 spas at a time. They are the UK's only manufacturer of tiled spas and pools to be ISO 9001 accredited, with a distinct focus on the quality of the product and service provided.

To ensure we achieve our plans provide an excellent customer experience, Cheshire Spas & Pools are looking to expand the UK team to support its aspirations of growth for the future. As a result, we are looking to recruit an experienced Production & Warehouse Manager.

Primary Function of the Role



A key member of the Operational Management Team responsible for providing clear leadership, direction, and vision for both

Production

and

Warehouse/Stores

functions.

You will ensure:

This is a hands-on, multi-functional role ideal for a strong operational leader in a small but busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities



Production Management



Plan, coordinate, and execute the production schedule to meet customer deadlines. Communicate daily/weekly targets clearly to the production team. Maintain safe and secure working conditions in line with Health & Safety regulations and company policy. Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency to ensure maximum output. Lead, motivate, and develop the production team; manage training requirements. Oversee production equipment maintenance schedules and resolve issues promptly. Identify opportunities to reduce production costs and increase efficiency. Lead continuous improvement activities to optimise manufacturing processes, workflow, and quality systems. Ensure production aligns with the company's ISO 9001 standards. Support strategic development by scaling production capacity where required.

Warehouse & Stores Management



Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, stocking, picking, and dispatch. Maintain accurate stock levels of raw materials, consumables, tools, equipment, and parts for both Contracts and Production Teams. Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards. Accurate recording of all stock movements and ensure traceability through job/project. Ensure pick lists are completed accurately, fully, and on time. Conduct regular stock checks and manage the annual stocktake process. Purchase stock at the best price from approved suppliers, in line with the Quality Management System. Manage warehouse staff and support their training and development. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely when required.

Skills & Experience Required



Production & Warehouse Management



Minimum 5 years' management experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years' warehouse or stores management experience. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive performance. Experience working within an ISO 9001 accredited environment. Solid understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and stock accuracy. Proactive, organised, and analytical in approach to operational challenges. Strong commercial awareness and ability to maintain profitable operations. Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise across all business areas. Computer literate -- strong skills in Word and Excel; Sage experience preferred. Numerate with the ability to follow internal processes and record accurate data. Ability to operate forklifts (certification desired). Strong multitasking, organisational, and problem?solving capabilities.

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
