As a Barclays, Program Test Reporting & Governance Lead you will be involved in responding to assurance requirements from Internal audit all the way to External Consultants appointed by Central Banks. In addition, it requires clear reporting to senior stakeholder about the current state of testing. This role will help create and maintain a Governance and Reporting framework that allows for robust response to these requirements.

Hybrid Working
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?

  • Assessing the Governance and Reporting requirements and defining a framework to fulfil the requirements
  • Working closely with Programme Test/Implementation Director and Programme Assurance Director in operationalizing the framework
  • Acting as the PoC for all the processes, Strategy, Approach, Execution Reporting, Closure Document, Assurance and External Communications on testing
  • Representing testing position in various senior forums both internal and external
  • Managing the stakeholders that are Program Director, Program Assurance Director, Scheme Director, Requirements/Architecture Lead and Test Leads
  • You will drive problems to resolution where there may not be an obvious leader
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • Must have experience in managing Testing services for multiple large scale programmes and projects
  • Must have detailed functional and non-functional Testing knowledge and extensive knowledge of the test lifecycle and of relevant testing techniques
  • Must have experience in defining and rolling out strategies/frameworks and governing the performance of it through appropriate metrics
  • Must have leadership level experience of engaging multiple senior stakeholders within technology and business
Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Experience of executing complex E2E testing including connectivity with external interfaces
  • Experience in dealing with internal/external audit/assurance bodies
  • Experience in dealing with senior MD/C Suite stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Global Payments and Settlement Schemes e.g.: CHAPS
