JD:

Monthly transaction processing, Period close, Reporting & Forecasting Customer Sales Invoicing, Sales Ledger (AR) and Credit Control, Customer query resolution Purchase Ledger (AP) payment runs & Employee Expenses Cash Management - monthly/weekly cashflow reporting and forecasting Cashbook posting & Bank reconciliation (UK & FX Currency) Finance Business Partner to Workplace Services within BAE Systems RES Line Management to one Project Accountant Transaction processing, Journals and month end close Financial Reporting Phased Budgets and IBP Corporate Governance Process, Internal Financial Control Framework - ensuring compliance by the Business Unit Finance Team through quarterly self-audit testing SAP Project Accounting SME for EITS to FS SAP Transition Project Support Finance Team post-implementation through monthly close, Budgets and IBP submission Finance Business Partner to Applied Intelligence Business Group Finance Business Partner to the Nightworks business, part of BAE Systems Shared Services Project Accounting for between 40-65 live projects, depending on MOD workload and turnover. Preparation and formal business review of the monthly CORE Project Contract Status Report (CSR) and Projects Summary Status Reports (SSR) Management responsibility for three staff: Project Accountant (x1), Finance Assistant (x2) Member of Shared Services Senior Finance Team/FD first line report Supporting the 5-Year IBP process and leading regular Forecast Reviews Supporting business winning and project delivery through timely financial guidance Costing and Pricing modelling for project bids and supporting the Commercial team with preparing Requests for Bid Approval Monthly finance reporting activity supporting the forecasting process including opportunities and vulnerabilities (O's & V's)
