Overview

A well-established Scottish civil engineering contractor with a rapidly growing workload is recruiting a

Project Manager

to join their expanding team in Aberdeen. With a strong order book secured for 2026, this company offers long-term stability, a mature environment and a close-knit, family-oriented culture.

They specialise in a wide variety of civil engineering schemes, including:

structures, earthworks, road construction, drainage, sewers, and general infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities

Lead civil engineering projects from planning through delivery. Manage site teams, subcontractors and engineering personnel. Ensure programme milestones, cost controls and quality standards are achieved. Uphold high levels of safety and compliance on all projects. Work with commercial teams to monitor costs and variations. Liaise with clients, local authorities, designers and internal stakeholders. Produce progress reports, risk assessments and project documentation.

Requirements

Strong background in civil engineering project management. Experience delivering earthworks, structures, drainage, roads or infrastructure projects. Solid working knowledge of

NEC contracts

(essential). Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to deliver multiple projects to deadlines. Based in or able to commute to Aberdeen.
