Anderselite is working in partnership with a growing consultancy in Cardiff to recruit a highly capable Project Manager with a strong engineering or environmental background. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment, leading complex infrastructure and development projects from inception to delivery.
The Opportunity


You'll take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects across multiple sectors, coordinating internal and external teams and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.


We're looking for a confident and collaborative communicator who is comfortable working with engineers, environmental specialists, planners, and technical consultants in a fast-paced consultancy setting.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Management


Lead and manage projects from concept through to completion and aftercare. Define scope, deliverables and timelines with clients and stakeholders. Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress against deadlines.
Team Coordination


Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, environmental specialists, GIS and heritage consultants. Foster effective collaboration across project partners and internal teams.
Budget & Risk Control


Manage budgets, monitor costs and track project financials. Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Management


Act as main point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Deliver clear and consistent project updates and reporting.
Compliance & Quality Assurance


Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations (e.g. ISO, CDM, EIA regulations). Conduct post-project reviews and drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For


Degree-qualified in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related discipline. 5+ years' experience delivering complex built environment or infrastructure projects. Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams. Strong knowledge of project planning software and tools. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills. A proactive, delivery-focused mindset.
Desirable


Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, APM). Experience with Agile or hybrid project delivery methods. Understanding of relevant UK planning and environmental legislation. Familiarity with CAD/GIS/engineering design tools.
