Work description:
Good experience in establishing quality standards and specification for product compliance and regulatory and customer expectations
Good decision-making capabilities in preparation of process. Ability to read and understand specifications and standards
Work with cross-functional teams, local experts, partners and suppliers to ensure technical aspects of the projects are achieved
Support the investigation of all non-conformance reports and all responses using proven problem-solving methodology
Will be responsible for: developing, evaluating, improving the processes involving work flows, operating procedures and control documents
Oversee operational support to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems.
Responsible for vetting the requirement gatherings, planning, execution and closure of projects / initiatives
Should be part of weekly / monthly reviews , risk management of the projects
Drive continuous improvement / cost reduction through waste reduction, production efficiency and operations improvement.
Represent management in Customer meetings / discussion and review the operational KPI's
Should drive improvements in all related manufacturing processes, including those related to products, equipment, and product quality for customers
Able to support root cause analysis and implementation of problem solving techniques like 8D
Working knowledge and experience of using QC tools and SPC analysis

Awareness of aerospace/auto quality requirements (AS9100, OSHAS, TS 16949, various ISO )
Education & Professional Qualification:
Graduate /Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum hands on experience in Manufacturing Engineering 8-10 years
Should have faced at least 2 to 3 audits for various certification in individual capacity
Green Belt certification in any Quality initiative would be added advantage

Willing to travel to the Customer site & Service providers, as required
