We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to oversee a diverse range of projects across our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects efficiently while ensuring all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints. This role requires a strong joinery knowledge and installation, a good ability to read drawing, strong leadership, be well verst in CDM H & S, producing RAMS, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving project success through strategic planning and team management, utilising advanced project management tools and methodologies.
Duties
Lead the planning and implementation of projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Supervise project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to project timelines.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues early and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks.
Gather and define project requirements by liaising with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
Utilise project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence for scheduling, tracking progress, and reporting.
Manage project budgets, control costs, and optimise resource utilisation throughout project lifecycle.
Facilitate communication among team members, clients, vendors, and senior management through clear presentations and regular updates.
Apply various project management methodologies including Waterfall, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), and utilise tools like SharePoint, ServiceNow, Workday, Basecamp, and Project Server for documentation and collaboration.
Analyse data using SAS or other data analysis tools to support decision-making processes.
Develop comprehensive project documentation including plans, schedules, risk assessments, and post-project reviews.
Ensure compliance with organisational standards for content management systems and product development processes.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience in managing complex projects across diverse teams.
Strong skills in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and team management.
Extensive knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle ERP Cloud is desirable.
Proficiency in project management software including Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Smartsheet, SharePoint or equivalent tools.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams towards common goals.
Outstanding communication skills with the capacity to deliver compelling presentations to varied audiences.
Experience working within Agile frameworks such as SAFe as well as traditional Waterfall methodologies.
Familiarity with content management systems and product development processes is advantageous.
