Project Manager

Location: Lincoln, United Kingdom

You must be a UK national due to the nature of the tasking to allow for Government security vetting (UKSV) if not already obtained.

Are you a Project Manager with a passion for delivering software projects? An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of our Delivery Team. You will help deliver our products and contribute to our projects that play a critical role in ensuring national security and strategic advancements.

Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives. Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules and resource allocation. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Identify and manage project risks and issues. Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders. Conduct regular project meetings to track progress and resolve any issues. Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.

Essential Skills/Experience

:

1 - 4 years Previous experience in a Project Manager role. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, processes, and artefacts. Proficiency in project management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to prioritise task whilst maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Desirable:

AgilePM & APM PMQ. An awareness of the Defence sector. An understanding of software development. Experience of bid management. Financial controls.
