Position Summary:




We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to work as part of the Projects team to coordinate and plan activities (including attending customer site visits) for the successful management and delivery of technical projects through to completion, within timescale and budget. To support the Sales Support Team where necessary to assist with information for quotations. To work closely with the Sales and Service teams, customer, suppliers and sub-contractors as appropriate to ensure the successful delivery of the project. To recognise if and when technical problems develop, and to escalate as appropriate.

Only candidates with experience in project management within the HVAC industry, construction or similar will be considered, due to the nature of this role.



Main duties and responsibilities:

(This is not an exhaustive list and is subject to change depending on the needs of the business)

Work with the internal project and administration team to deliver timely and accurate order processing and project management for assigned projects Lead end-to-end project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management To provide technical or quotation support to the team when required To provide effective information and support to the Projects, Sales & Service teams Provide information to Product Managers on any technical, warranty issues or product failures Provide technical assistance direct to customers and in-house service engineers on the full range of Swegon/Bluebox products as well as a range of other manufacturers units Track project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders High level of customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of customers, contractors and suppliers Manage stakeholder expectations, escalating issues and risks where necessary Conduct project reviews and implement improvements for future delivery Ability to work as part of a team or in a stand-alone role using initiative Travelling to and visiting customer sites Obtain best prices from approved supplier for preparation of quotations, when required Keeping records project costs and budget control Maintain and update the company's business systems and records Responsible for checking and verifying supplier invoices upon receipt, where required Ensuring processes are in line with QA work instructions and procedures utilising controlled forms and templates Assist where required with fielding telephone enquiries, responding where possible directly or ensuring enquires are dealt with by the most appropriate team member Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and contractual obligations

Essential experience:



HVAC Industry or similar Experience Mandatory 3-5 years experience in a project management role Experience of planning, organising, and managing resources and systems to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals Knowing the value of effective process management and associated documentation Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, quotes and required documentation. Delivering projects within the financial requirements of a business in a timely manner Sub-contractor/Supplier management Database and operating systems experience

Essential qualifications:



GCSE / A Level or equivalent, (including IT) CSCS skills card Computer literate in MS Office, ERP and database operating systems Valid UK Driving Licence
