About the role





As Project Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating technical projects, managing subcontractors, and ensuring service delivery meets our clients' expectations.



From commissioning and maintenance of equipment to project planning, resource scheduling, and client liaison, you'll help ensure every project runs efficiently, on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.





You'll work closely with engineers, clients, and suppliers to keep things moving, track milestones, and report on progress, helping us deliver seamless operations from contract to completion.

What you'll be doing



Scheduling & Coordination




Allocate internal and subcontractor engineering resources for planned and reactive maintenance. Communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and the Head of Engineering to meet service commitments.



Project & Stakeholder Management




Support project planning, initiation, and delivery activities. Monitor task allocation and project milestones for internal teams and subcontractors. Liaise directly with clients on purchase orders, updates, and service requirements. Attend client meetings and produce project and performance reports. Escalate SLA risks and manage non-conformance issues as they arise.



Administration & Reporting




Maintain and operate our CMMS system (Big Change*) to track jobs and performance.
Produce regular internal reports and ad-hoc updates for stakeholders. Support monthly reporting on project and subcontractor performance.



Finance & Compliance




Liaise with the finance team to ensure accurate client invoicing supported by system documentation.



Technical & Customer Support




Provide technical support to engineers and customer service teams to resolve live issues and ensure client satisfaction.



Location and working hours:




Full-time position (37.5 hours per week). 60-minute lunch break (unpaid) during each working day. Office location: Moorgate, London (WeWork) Flexibility to work from home as agreed with line manager Occasional travel to site visits and Insite's offices for face to face meetings



Required skills and attributes:




Experience in project management, across multiple projects running simultaneously Background in engineering, utilities, facilities management, or energy services (preferred by not essential). Experience with client management, including meetings and presentations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Experience with financial management or processes within projects. Experience with sub-contractor coordination, scheduling or customer service services (preferred but not essential). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience using Project Management or CMMS software (e.g. Big Change, SimPro, Job Logic, or MS Project) is beneficial. Contract management experience.
