Position Description:





Oversee activities for projects from inception to completion ensuring that the projects are completed on time and within budget, with health and safety as top priority and able to deliver client expectations.


Responsibilities to include

:


Where applicable, provide technical and financial advice to the estimators for the accurate presentation of tender submissions and quotations. Provide feedback to the estimators on the suitability and performance of external suppliers and sub-contractors. Where required, attend tender clearance meetings (CD1) and advise on the content of submissions. Attend contract start up meetings and take responsibility for installation of all projects. Support the contracts manager in all project communication matters with the client in respect of installation activities. Ensure that contract programs are reviewed and undertaken for all installation activities in accordance with contractual obligations. Prepare and issue all Risk Assessments and Method Statements for installation activities Provide all progress monitoring reports as directed by the General Manager. Implement and control all and Health and Safety procedures in respect of installation, whether through internal or external systems. Control all required certificates of installation team, ensuring appropriately qualified personnel are assigned to each project. Select, negotiate, plan and order the supply of sub-contract services. Direct, manage and control all aspects of supply and sub-contract services in respect of project requirements. Supervise the performance of supply and sub-contract services such that the contract obligations of the division are maintained. Issue instructions and directions in the manner prescribed by the division's operating procedures. Maintain the necessary records to facilitate the proper operation of services in both progress and financial matters. Implement, control and monitor all correspondence with supply and sub-contract services companies. Maintain all contractual requirements in respect of information flow, instructions, variations, day-works and contemporary records for site activities. Assist on measurement information, claims and entitlements. Prepare and submit requisitions in accordance with divisional policy and procedure.

Position:

Full Time with an immediate start


Hours of work:

Mon- Thursday 9.00am -17.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 2.00pm


Salary:

Negotiable depending on experience


Holidays: Full time -

25 days per year (Holiday year Jan - Dec) + 8 Bank holidays, Pro rata for part time.


Life Insurance:

3 times basic salary whilst in employment


Pension Scheme:

Automatic enrolment if meet criteria, 5% Employee, 3% Employer. After 1 year in April - Age related up to max 6.5%.
