We are looking for an organised and proactive Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a wide range of business systems projects across ERP, WMS, Finance, Retail, Internal App Development, Data, and Reporting. You will coordinate and drive system development and implementation projects from launch through to post-implementation review. Working closely with the Business Systems Architect and wider IT team, you'll manage project schedules, track progress, communicate updates, and ensure smooth collaboration across departments.

The Role



Manage incoming helpdesk tickets and coordinate responses with the IT team.

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and team calendars.

Communicate project updates, milestones, and expectations to the wider business.

Document existing business processes and create clear specifications for developers.

Conduct costbenefit analyses for proposed process changes.

Schedule and oversee user training and testing sessions.

Identify project risks, create contingency plans, and report to the Project Delivery Board.

Actively contribute to Project Delivery Board and Super User Group meetings, ensuring continuous feedback to the business

Represent Paul Smith when working with software vendors.

Your Skills and Experience



Proven experience in project management, with involvement across full project lifecycles.

Strong skills in process mapping and producing clear functional specifications.

Experience identifying and managing project risks, with a structured approach to mitigation and reporting.

Competent using project management and documentation tools.

Previous experience with ERP and/or WMS systems would be desirable.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical details for non-technical audiences.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to stay calm under pressure.

Able to deal with people at all levels in order to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
