Job Summary

As a Project Manager, you'll take full responsibility for defining, facilitating, and successfully completing both existing and new customer projects. These projects typically have direct business impact and firm deadlines, making your role crucial to our success.

What an Ordinary Day Might Look Like:

Project Planning:

Create and maintain realistic project plans, ensuring regular and accurate communication with stakeholders.

Change Management:

Manage effective change control and ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale, and quality parameters.

Team Leadership

: Lead and manage the project team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

Governance:

Apply project tailoring and governance in accordance with the project category.

Billing

: Ensure timely billing of service request work, project consultancy, and one-off costs.

Stakeholder Management:

Manage and report to internal stakeholders, keeping everyone informed and engaged.

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and manage risks to the success of the project.

Client Relationship:

Manage the client relationship, ensuring satisfaction and successful project outcomes.

Transition:

Ensure projects are successfully transitioned into BAU support and closed following the project closure checklist.

Feedback:

Conduct Project CSATs to gather valuable feedback.

Business Development:

Secure additional business by identifying opportunities for additional revenue.

This role is based in Manchester, Sale, and it's important that applicants are in Manchester. You'll be required to be in the office for the first 6 months or until you pass probation.

Qualifications & Competencies:

Minimum 3 years of experience within Project Management. APM PMQ, PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven track record working as an experienced Junior or Assistant Project Manager, preferably in a similar industry. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello). Demonstrated leadership, excellent communication, strong problem-solving, effective time management, adaptability, risk management proficiency, and collaborative teamwork skills. Experienced in project environments, handling planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
