The Role




As a Project Manager you will provide day-to-day management for assigned IT related projects. This will involve driving successful delivery through scoping, managing risks and issues, managing customer expectations, establishing realistic plans and milestones, and facilitating benefits realization.


You will work closely with stakeholders and suppliers to define project scope, manage delivery, and ensure alignment with UWL's standards. The role involves overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and documentation to testing, implementation, and closure. You'll be responsible for managing risks, changes, and quality assurance, while ensuring compliance with data protection and change control policies. Strong communication, organisational skills, and experience in project governance are essential.

The Person




The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant discipline or substantial experience in the field. They should have high-level expertise in deploying and managing IT infrastructure, budget management, and extensive project management skills. The candidate should demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, a deep understanding of IT disciplines, and strong communication skills.
