What does the role involve:



As Innserve continues to deliver against their ambitious strategy, this Project Manager plays a pivotal role in translating our strategic goals into actionable plans, ensuring that our resources are used effectively, and that teams are aligned and motivated. By managing risks, maintaining momentum, and delivering results, this Project Manager helps drive business success and stakeholder satisfaction.

This role reports into the Head of Finance and leads on several projects and is also on the steering committee which includes members of the Board, so you will have exposure to key stakeholders within the business.

You will partner with relevant teams in one of the significant projects currently underway, within assets. Aligning project results with financial and operational performance, you will be required to undertake occasional travel to one of our two Sunderland sites.

The role encompasses project planning, team coordination, execution and delivery, monitoring progress while identifying risk and implementing effective mitigations. With extensive stakeholder engagement, your role is key in managing expectations, issuing regular updates, reporting on status and providing key data and reports. You'll manage quality assurance, ensuring projects meet standards and business requirements.

What are we looking for:



Proven experience of working in a project environment or transformation team

Understanding of how benefits are derived and achieved (cost saving, income growth)

Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Competence and confidence in presenting

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability

Strong IT and data manipulation skills.

Preferable:



Experience in projects relating to asset management

Proficiency in project management tools

Exposure to digital transformation and/or technology-led projects

Familiarity with change management principles and practices

Business partnering with finance teams to turn project results into financial and operational performance.
